About the Farm

SunPoint Farm sits on 28 acres with access to an onsite, well-fed irrigation system. Each Garden plot is assigned to a particular individual or family to work the land. Generally, what is grown is typical New England climate crops. However, some of the refugee communities have brought with them knowledge of some unfamiliar plants and postharvest processing techniques. For example, African Garden Egg eggplants were successfully cultivated at SunPoint in 2016, and an unusual variety of corn for grinding.
